Casa Dom Inacio
and My Spirit Guides

My life took what seemed like an abrupt turn one Tuesday morning in 2000 when I heard a talk by Bob Dinga in Santa Cruz, CA, during which he presented his experience at The Casa Dom Inacio in central Brasil. I had studied with a Brazilian spiritual healer in the USA and had incorporated what I had conceived then as that energy work modality into my overall bag of tools, using many of the methods I had learned in that training period in combination with techniques from other traditions.

It was only after I had visited Brazil the Casa in Abadiania near Brasilia for the first time that I clearly realized how much I had also incorporated the guidance of non-physical entities, spirits, into my own work. I had talked about following my guides when I taught, and followed their guidance when I worked, but after my first visit I realized how much I had also invited spirit to work with the client and me.

Many clients had reported feeling other hands, and clairvoyants had reported seeing such and such entity, whose description matched some of whom I was aware of being with me during those sessions. Clients often reported feeling the work continue for days after a session. After I experiencedthe Casa work I knew that spirits worked with me during the session, and I knew it at my soul level and continued the work afterwards. I believe that happens more rather than less often with many healing practitioners.

I am not comparing my work with that of the Casa, which is at a scale well beyond anything I have done independently. With the incredible supporting mediumistic "infrastruture" at the Casa Dom Inacio, hundreds to thousands of people every day are treated. It is God and love working here that creates the result. And many experience incredible healings - some fast, most gradual.

I have been surprised in a way and baffled by the incredible results after my work, and know in my heart that it has nothing to do with my abilities - it is the result of the spirits and the all powerful One at work.

I believe we all are capable at one level or another of connecting with spirit. The power of that connection depends on our ability and willingness to surrender to the spirits and to keep ego and self will out of the way. The more we invite the spirits to work with us, the more they do. By surrendering to the guidance of the spirits, one can then do things that training, experience and method does not readily explain.
